If you want to play with "main game" (I understand you mean Party Mode). You need to create account in the game and MovieStats. By this after the game is finished your best movies will be exported to MovieStats. They will be then comparable with movies of other players. So statement that this is single player game and not affect other players is not exactly truth.
Solution. If you want to use cheat codes you can make donation on Bronze level. This will enable to you possibility to use cheat codes in Party game (but after using first cheat code which is related to cash export of the movies to MovieStats will be blocked so it will not affect Online BoxOffice in MovieStats).
This game interface might a bit lacking, but the depth of the game is so addictive. I really enjoy making a movie script and experiment with different motives to match with the actors. And the randomness of the result is what makes it so fun.
All cheat codes can be used only Quick Game... why long story... trophies, profiles, moviestatats would make no sense when if cheat modes were enabled in all games modes... and that is the reason that exists different game modes... to support different play styles.
Please note that this is quite unique project... you will not find hundreds games like Movie Business (I am not talking about tycoons in general but about games about movie creation) and even commercial one do not have a lot of features which you can find here...

So far, the availability of MP3 files is less a boon to new artists than to established, familiar artists. Twenty-eight percent of music downloaders say captured music that they already own in another form (CD or tape) and 63% downloaded new music. This is a marked change from our June 2000 report, in which 13% of music downloaders said they captured music they already owned and 81% downloaded new music. Since the demographics of music downloaders have not shifted significantly in the last few months, it is possible that their behavior has changed. Music downloaders may be using services like Napster to expand their music collections and replace the music they own on old cassette tapes with new digital versions of the same material. Or, there is another possibility for this increase in the number of people reporting they have downloaded music they already owned in another form.
